Brief introduction
The full name of YEJ motor is: YEJ series electromagnetic three-phase asynchronous braking motor (short for: YEJ series electromagnetic braking motor), which is a fully enclosed, self-fan cooled, squirrel cage type additional DC electromagnetic brake three-phase asynchronous motor. It is composed of an additional DC disc electromagnetic brake between the rear cover and the fan of the motor.
Applied range
Suitable for various machinery requiring rapid braking, precise positioning, reciprocating operation, frequent starting, and braking. It serves as the main drive and auxiliary transmission equipment. For example: electric valves, rubber chemical machinery, metalworking machine tools, packaging machinery, woodworking machinery, food machinery, chemical machinery, textile machinery, construction machinery, and gear reducers.
Characteristic
The braking is reliable, the braking torque can be adjusted, the rotor has no axial movement, and it is convenient to use.
Standard type
The motor conforms to JB/T6428--92 <YEJ series (IP44) technical conditions for electromagnetic braking three-phase asynchronous motors (frame number 80-225)
Requirements.
The rated voltage of the motor is 380V, the rated frequency is 50HZ, the protection class of the housing is IP44, the brake is IP23, the cooling method is IC411, the base working mode is continuous working mode SI, and the insulation class is B.
Principle and structure
The DC disc brake of the YEJ type braking motor is installed on the end cover at the non-shaft end of the motor. When the braking motor is powered, the brake also operates. Due to electromagnetic attraction, the electromagnet draws the armature and compresses the spring, causing the brake disc to disengage from the armature and end cover, allowing the motor to start rotating. When the power supply is cut off, the electromagnet loses its electromagnetic force, and the spring pushes the armature to press against the brake disc. Under the action of friction torque, the motor immediately stops rotating.
Installation type
B3: The base is equipped with a foot, and the end cover has no protrusion.
B5: The base is not equipped with a foot, and the end cover has a protrusion.
